Establishment of famous Janta Wafers was initiated by Shri Dhirubhai Khakhar in 1954 at Malad (East), Mumbai.

With his Zeal, Hard Working Nature, having business tact with Faithfulness to customer he was able to make headway in making his establishment very popular among Bombayite in very short span.

In 1964 his elder son Tarun Khakhar joined his Father to strengthen popularity already established by his father.
